to make gives present you more attention

    could somebody recommend yogic’s diet

  4. idomanor says:

    that’s probably the …
that’s probably the worst triconasana explanation i’ve ever heard. that’s not Iyengar yoga. shame.

  5. mevaishnavi says:

    A certified Iyengar …
A certified Iyengar yoga teacher would not use this vocabulary
nor would they dress like this to teach. People abuse and dont understand Iyengar Yoga ….

is that a below that wall paint on the right side???? lol

Expert Village is open to a copyright infringement lawsuit for this video.

  8. SarahMcCartneyRandel says:

    Not good. BKS …
Not good. BKS Iyengar protects name legally in order to protect keen but innocent yoga students from being misled into thinking that stuff like this is the real thing. Look for the certification mark. People train for years to earn it.

  9. jessyogini says:

    I am sorry but …
I am sorry but unless you are a certified Iyengar yoga teacher, you shouldn’t present yoga using his name. AND Using props does not make it Iyengar yoga, look in Light on Yoga, there are no props in there! The props he has given to us through the years are gifts to help us expand our knowledge about our body in the asana. they are not to be taken lightly! this video is a misrepresentation. As BKS Iyengar says, “yoga cannot be described it has to be experienced.’ this video does no justice.

  10. decashpoy says:

    this is quite funny …
this is quite funny stuff, you can quite clearly see there is no back ground in what she says or does. This is not “pure” Iyengar Yoga but floppy yoga with a brick or 2 and a few instructions, perhaps it is more over us who mis-interpret what she says, whe think she says Iyengar but if you listen carefully she says “Iyengaaar3″ who could be another master we are unaware of????haahaa

    I Totally agree …
I Totally agree this is from no where Iyengar Yoga, using blocks and props should never be mistaken as Iyengar Yoga, these props are virtually worshiped by shadek during attaining perfection in pose viewing various aspects. It is not only alignment it is many more than words. Please i request all the people that they should pass correct information to others not the half cooked.

  12. camelotcurtis says:

    I agree. At best …
I agree. At best she has taken a few Iyengar classes and gleaned a few “cool concepts”, but is not an Iyengar teacher. This is the problem with students that take a few Iyengar classes and think they “get the point” rather than devote a couple of years of serious practice in the Iyengar method. It is a blatant disregard for the true depth of the Iyengar method. It is not bad, but it is also, not Iyengar. Please, Try again.

    hm, i think, there …
hm, i think, there are lots of wrong techniques from the video, first of all the hips are not supposed to turn inside but it has to be square, legs supposed to be pulled up, spread to the side also spread the arms first and etc, alot of mistakes from this video, this lady is for sure not an Iyengar certified teacher or even an Iyengar yoga practicionist, how could she even thinking of posting this video or even using Guruji’s name for her video ?

  14. arielsion says:

    Hmm…in the …
Hmm…in the Iyengar class I took, there were a lot more details for Triangle Pose. We started by spreading the toes, feeling the stretch coming up the calves, then up the quads, then up the whole body.
