I used to be able …
I used to be able to do splits, but I injured my right hamstring about 4 years ago in dance and it has never healed enough. I haven’t known what to do to help it heal. I just thought I had a temporary pulled muscle at the time, but maybe I didn’t rest it enough and now it’s damaged, I don’t know. Any suggestions what I could do to help it? I’m 43 so I’m sure that has something to do with it too since muscles don’t heal or bounce back like when a person is younger. I do yoga daily though.

Tucking the back foot protects the knee if you are concerned about knee trouble. It’s comfort and personal preference.

Is there a benefit to tucking vs. untucking the back foot in the front splits? Or is the stretch the same either way?
